A proud and humble New Yorker from birth, Michael spent his childhood and teenage years in his beloved Woodside, Queens. He first attended St. Sebastian Academy, and he went on to graduate from Archbishop Molloy High School. After attending Iona College, Michael began his career with the FDNY at 22 years of age. A second generation firefighter, Michael served the department with great pride for fifteen years, until his final call on March 23, 2018.  He was only 37 years old.

Michael is survived by his parents, Paula and Robert Davidson; his brother, Eric; his wife Eileen, and their four beautiful children, Brooke, Joseph, Emily, and Amy. Michael was a friend to all he met; he was kind, compassionate, strong, and brave. He never wavered in truth or principle, and his love for his family and friends was palpable.  Forever in our hearts, we honor his light every day, and we thank you for supporting us in this endeavor.
